SINGLE CREAM FACTOR
Palomino
Genetic Formula:
ee, CCcr, dd, gg, ww, toto
Description:
Palomino horses are well noted for there golden colored bodies. They vary from a rich cream color to a minted gold or chocolate color. At its lightest the Palomino may be confused with a Cremello except for the fact that the light Palomino will have dark skin and eyes, while the
Cremello will have blue eyes and pink skin. At its darkest the Palomino is affected by the
Sooty factor darkening its body color to chocolate.

Buckskin
Genetic Formula:
E, A, CCcr, dd, gg, ww, toto
Description:
Buckskin horses vary
in body color like the Palomino from cream, to gold, or chocolate if the Sooty factor is involved. Where Buckskin's are a single cream dilution on bay they also have the black points (Mane, Tail, Ears and legs). Buckskins may have counter-shading but never any other dun type markings.

Smokey Black
Smoky Black is visually a Black horse but they carry one Ccr gene and so can produce cream diluted offspring. Since the Cream dilution does not affect the Black body coloring of a horse a Smoky Black will appear to be a
Black horse. Smoky Cream status may be determined by a
cream factor foal being born when the mare/stallion is bred to non cream
carrying horse.
